First Fascination of Plants Day on 18 May 2012

Twenty-seven countries have agreed to take part in the first “Fascination of Plants Day” on 18 May 2012.
Over 60 universities, botanical gardens and museums will organise public activities on themes including plant science, agriculture, gardening, forestry, plant breeding, conservation and biodiversity.
So far 24 European countries plus Australia, New Zealand and Japan have joined.
The event is organised by the European Plant Science Organisation, a lobby of plant science organisations in Brussels.
